Joy's Christian Learning Center

Hi my name is Elisa (Joy) Ekstrom-McKnight. The children refer to me as “Miss Joy”. I have worked in the childcare field for well over eighteen years. I have been a lead teacher for a total of ten years. I have a God given passion for children. The majority of my career has been working with three-five year olds. I love working with little children and watching them as they learn and develop their skills each day. I am a mother of eight children. Our children range from twenty years old to two and a half years old. I have my CPR and First Aid training as does my aid “Miss Linda”. Mrs. Linda Thompson, who is a mother of four grown children. She has worked in childcare before and continues to work in the nursery at church.
